Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My!

A few days before my mom went back to work, we went with my dad to the Como Park Zoo in St Paul. It was my first time seeing all of the wild animals and I was very impressed, especially with the penguins. The monkeys kind of freaked me out. I don't know if it was because they were bouncing off the walls or their weird smell, but I wasn't a fan of the Primate building.

Nice and cozy. Ready to see some animals!

Check out those horns.

Making friends with the penguins!

I realize it seems like I spend a lot of time in my stroller. I do, but I like it in there!

26.2 Miles of Pure Awesomeness

The first weekend in October is a big deal around here. First, it's my Wisconsin grandma's birthday. Second, it's the Twin Cities Marathon. Apparently it's become a tradition in my house to either run it or watch it. I was actually awake for this outing (or part of it anyway) and I was so inspired by all of the runners. I can't wait to run it with my mom some day!

Watching the runners!

No matter what I'm doing, I can't take my eyes off my mom when she's around.

Rumor has it that I "ran" the marathon with my mom last year. The jury is still out...

A Bushel and a Peck...of Apples

Today I was very sad because my grandma from Wisconsin went back home after taking care of me for the last few days. My mom went back to work and I am devestated that I'm not able to hang out with her all day long. (Don't get me started on this whole daycare business). I had a lot of fun with my grandma though and I cried when she left!

To cheer me up, my mom and dad took me to an apple orchard where we could pick our own apples. My dad didn't understand why we didn't buy a bag instead of picking them ourselves. According to my mom, it's all about the experience. As usual, I slept through the whole thing.

Dad pushing me in The Bob, like always

I have a feeling I'm going to really like these some day!
