About Me

My photo
Landon
I was just born and wanted to share my journeys with all of my friends and family that I don't get to see every day. This blog name comes from a song my mom sings to me. I don't really get the lyrics. I don't think she does either. My grandma finally explained to the two of us that "A Bushel and a Peck" was a song written in 1950 and performed in the Broadway musical, "Guys and Dolls". My great-grandmother used to have her HiLiters singing group over to practice in my grandma's living room, and since her bedroom was in the dining room, she could hardly escape the noise. (Which was fine with her because she LOVED all those show tunes)! My grandma sang it to my mom and now she sings it to me. I need to talk to my grandma about teaching Mom a few more songs because she only knows that one and one other!
