Just another day at the gym, slam-dunking shredded Kleenex.

And Then There Were Teeth
My doctor told my parents that they teach two things in medical school - "green poop is normal" and "everyone gets teeth." This whole hard-object-ripping-through-soft-tissue-in-my-mouth thing is not cool. NOT COOL. In all of my ten months of life, I've never experienced something so painful. Oh wait, maybe there is one thing....
You would never guess from the look on my face that my mouth hurts. What can I say, give me Cheerios, bananas, and some pureed chicken and I forget everything else.

It's the littlest things...
...that melt my heart and remind us to be so thankful for every moment of every day we get to spend together.

Sweet child o' mine
You might think I'm eating something really sour.
You are wrong.
Orange, anyone?

Knock Knock
My mom was telling me the funniest jokes last night. I could hardly contain myself!
(The video might take a few seconds to load but be patient, it's worth it)!

SURPRISE!
I'm starting to learn that there are many different meanings of the word "surprise" judging by my mom and dad's reactions. When my mom found out she was pregnant - SURPRISE! When I finally pooped for the first time in a week - SURPRISE! When my aunt, uncle, and cousin showed up with my grandparents for my mom's birthday - SURPRISE! That one even surprised me - it took me a few minutes to figure out who was staring at me from the second floor. It took my mom even longer to figure out they were up there!
I also learned that your birthday isn't just a day, it's more like a week. I can get used to that idea.
On Friday night, my grandma and grandpa babysat Caleb and I while my mom, dad, aunt, and uncle went to a birthday dinner. (I'm not sure who was more sad to not be going along, me or my grandpa). Saturday we took Uncle Cade and Caleb to the Buffalo Tap for their first juicy lucy, at Grandpa's request of course! Saturday night we had a party with my Minnesota grandparents and the Ginger. After donuts Sunday morning, our house was quiet once again. It was so sad to see everyone go but I heard talk of going to Wisconsin very soon. My wish is going to come true!
I know that this weekend was supposed to be all about my mom because it was her birthday, but let's be honest, it was all about me and my cousin Caleb. Just look at who is in all of the pictures...not the birthday girl!

Cousin Caleb is here! Woo hoo!
Excuse me, I need to get a closer look at your foot.
Chillin' with Caleb while he's eating breakfast. I learned that Caleb is a "one-upper." Anything I would do, he would do the same thing only louder. I'm going to have to work on my copy cat skills!
What birthday isn't complete without bacon donuts!
You know what they say, the bigger the spoon, the bigger the mouth. Aunt Jenna must be using a really big spoon!
My new baseball hat!
Reading with Grandma. Which one of us is really in to the book and which one isn't?
Squishing Grandma. I miss her already!
