April (Snow) Showers Bring May Flowers

I don't know what my parents are complaining about.  I love snow! I love to eat it, walk in it, lay in it, and eat it. Did I say I like to eat it?  It feels so good on my new teeth that are making my life miserable!

I needed a little assistance walking in this slushy wet snow.
 "Walk, walk, help, help?"

I think I heard "Don't eat the yellow snow!" about 10 times in 5 minutes and then my mom gave up.
My response:  "Yummmmmm"

Our deer like to hang out in this spot, so there was a LOT of yellow snow to eat.

My mom kept laughing at me and saying "I can't put my arms down!"  I don't get it.

You know what is so fun? Making snow angels. Over and over and over.

I did need some help up though. Those snow pants aren't very forgiving.

Dear Neighbor Who Was Shoveling His Driveway,
Please don't judge my mom for dragging a screaming, bootless, mittenless child (me) out from the bushes by the shoulders of his jacket. It was MY DECISION to take my gloves off and MY DECISION to go behind the bushes where she couldn't reach me to put my boot back on.

Love,
The Screaming Toddler whose love for the snow supersedes any rational thoughts
about going inside when hands are cold and socks are wet.

Last year at this very same time, it was completely acceptable for me to be outside without a hat, gloves, snow pants or boots.

(Although if you ask my grandma, she would've told my mom I needed a hat).

Unwinding after a long day

After the stress of the holidays, I've learned to unwind with dance. Enjoy!

My First Snow!

Or, I guess, the first snow that I actually remember.  Pretty cool stuff although it doesn't last very long. My mom said to be patient, we'll have lots of snow to play in and it will stay around for what seems like forever and ever and ever.  I can't wait!

Can someone please put mittens on my Christmas list?

Let me address my face. Some call it dry skin, some call it eczema.  Call it what you will, I personally think it adds character.

Keep on keeping on!

I know, I know, I haven't been a very good baby blogger these days.  Ever since I turned one, I'm a very busy little boy.  I can't be bothered with things that don't involve eating, climbing up and down the stairs, and playing with the vacuum, in that order.

To give you a quick update on my life, I have a mouth full of teeth, I got my first hair cut, and I started to officially walk on my 15 month birthday.  (My mom was worried that at my 15 month check up, she would have to tell Dr. O that I wasn't walking yet.  Dr. O said I was "perfect" and didn't need to come back for 6 months).

My current interests include:

Harry, my Cabbage Patch doll. I love him.

Slapping pumpkins like my uncle slaps da' bass.

Walking and walking and walking and walking and walking.

Weightlifting.

Farm animals!

Apples. And yes, we maybe had to pull over on the side of the road because I am way too little to be eating those apples unsupervised.  Thanks Mom.... (Please note that Harry also likes apples).

Playing in the sand and on the slide!

Pinatas!  This is a bonus picture from my birthday, since I didn't blog about that fun day.

Pants are overrated

Flannel shirts, however, are not!

Tiny Bubbles

So I turned one last week and apparently that is a very big deal.   (I will post more about that later).  We closed out the weekend with an impromptu pool party.  I can't think of a better way to spend my Sunday than in the pool with my dad.  He is the funniest person I know.
